Amsterdam Netherlands poster print
Well known for its heady nightlife scene, waterways, adult entertainment and cycling, a city break to Amsterdam is sure to offer you some extreme diversity!
Whether you are here for a few hours on a P&O Ferries Dutch Dash or for a few days, you will be absolutely spoilt for choice for things to do see and do, no matter what your interests are. For art lovers there is the Van Gough Museum or Rijksmuseum, cultures lovers will enjoy the stunning Dutch architecture featured all around the city. Those looking for a good time may want to hop on board one of the citys infamous beer bikes and tour the more buzzy part of Amsterdam.
Capital City of the Netherlands and home to almost 1 million people, it was also once the home of famous wartime diarist Anne Frank. In 1960 the house she lived in opened to the public as a museum, Anne Frank House, used as a space to exhibit discrimination and persecution.
Our Amsterdam design is inspired by one of the most iconic canal views, which has earned the city its nickname of Venice of the North.
They were first constructed in the early 17th century and were designed to serve as transport, water management and defence. Today there are more the 60 miles of canals and around 1500 bridges across the city, and the inner canal ring has been officially declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. A visit to Amsterdam should always include a boat ride through the canals whether this is daytime, at night, to enjoy the sites or just enjoy a beer!
