Paris, France has long been revered as the city of romance, but it's much more than that. Its true title should read Paris: City of romance, art, fashion, food and architecture. Which is pretty long; but also highly appropriate!

The landmark for all of Paris has long been (and likely always will be) the Eiffel Tower, which of course we had the include in our design. Made of wrought iron lattice and completed in 1889, its named after the engineer (Gustave Eiffel) who's company designed and built it. Gustave was also responsible for the Statue of Liberty in New York. The Tower has spawned many replicas around the world, including Blackpool Tower, Tokyo Tower, and an exact dupe at the Paris Hotel on the Las Vegas strip.

Paris is one of the fashion capitals of the world, hosting two weeks of the bi-annual 'fashion month' each year (the rest taking place in London, Milan and New York). Celebrities, influencers and fashion lovers from around the globe descend on the city to admire catwalk shows by high end brands such as Balmain, Chanel, Givenchy and Celine.

Ultra-chic and high fashion aesthetic aside, Paris residents are known for having a more laid-back approach to life. Office workers are more likely to start around 10.30am, Lunches can last 2 or 3 hours, parties are for enjoyment and not to discuss work. Coupled with delicious champagne and delicious food, it's no wonder the French always seem to be in good spirits!
