Sheltered by a dramatic cliff backdrop, Camp de Mar is a small village on the West coast of Mallorca that has been a magnet for the Hollywood elite (Tom Cruise and Claudia Schiffer used to own homes in the area) for years.

Its beautiful white sand beach has been voted one of the best on the island that is a great place for snorkelling. Coupled with the straw umbrellas and the seemingly endless rows of greenery gently sloping behind, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were on holiday somewhere more tropical than the Balearic Islands. 

There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Camp de Mar, however the most well-know is undoubtedly Restaurante Illetta; based on a large rock that is accessed by a traditional wooden walkway. As well as enjoying great sea views (both on the island and the walkway to get there) you can also tuck into a variety of local delicacies including sea food, paella and sangria. Salut!
