Built in the 14th century, it features two dramatic towers that around 80 metres high. The Charles Bridge is a stone construction that’s over 500 metres long and officially a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Completed in the early 15th Century, the medieval-style structure is protected by bridge towers and was a primary connection between Prague Castle and the city's Old Town. Until the mid-19th century, it was also the only way to cross the River Vltava.
