Over the years it’s become affectionately known as the “Little Venice of the Canaries” thanks to the canals that link its marina to the fishing harbour (complete with Italian-style foot bridge over the top) and traffic-free resort centre. Despite the beauty of the resort, the showstopper of Puerto de Mogán is the beach. Backed by a bustling promenade and sheltered by the surrounding cliffs, the wide stretch of sand is one of the most popular with tourists.
