Cala Vadella Ibiza Canvas Print
On the Southwestern seaboard of Ibiza, the cove of Cala Vadella is less than 30 minutes from the airport. Sheltered by tree-line cliffs with traditional Spanish buildings sloping down across the landscape, the area has a real sense of calm about it.
Popular with both families and couples, you’ll often spot many small boats bobbing about thanks to the fisherman slipways that give easy access to the Mediterranean Sea. There’s a good selection of place to eat and drink that enjoy a views of the water, which are particularly enjoyable at sunset. After dark, this area can also remain pretty lively at certain times throughout the year.
The beach, which is the subject of our design, is one of the resort’s biggest draws. Featuring fine wine sand, shallow turquoise waters and plenty of water sports; it’s a great place to spend a day during your trip. A particular hot spot for water babies are the small caves dotted to the left-hand side of the beach, where you can snorkel and discover some of the area’s underwater life. On the southern side of the cove there’s another beach that was once home to a bar-come-nightclub and still has its concrete dancefloor in-tact, which makes it a great spot to sunbathe.
