This cosmopolitan retreat started out life as a sleepy little village in South Bali but has since morphed into one of the islands most buzzing tourist hotspots. This place truly has a little bit of everything going on, combining many of Balis best bits in one place the zen of yoga and green juice, cool art galleries and the buzz of good Balinese nightlife.
About 90 minutes away from Ubud, the most popular inland resort on the island, many believe Canggu has the edge thanks to its coastal position and urban influences. There is a thriving street art scene that could easily belong in New York or London, and cool caf̩e bars that wouldn't look out of place in a chic Australian city. Canggu is also home to Tanah Lot; an ancient Hindu shrine perched atop a small rock formation in amongst the crashing sea waves.
Many locals will tell you the best way to explore Bali (and the way they tend to get around) is by scooter, which is why we have chosen that as the subject of our poster design. Imagine cruising though the lush landscape with the wind in your head and smell of the ocean in your nostrils. Island life at its best.
