Benidorm is one of those holiday resorts that everyone has heard of, but they probably doesn't know about all of its amazing qualities.
Once of the great things everybody does know is right here on our design. Levante beach in Benidorms new town is rightfully one of the resorts main draws its golden sands stretch more than 2,000 metres, there is plenty of space to relax or play sports and the area is very well looked after. There is also the equally delightful (and even bigger) Poniente beach in the old town. But wait, there is more: just a short walk from Levante you will also stumble on the smaller sandy cove of Cala Mal Pas, which is a great spot if you prefer a beach thats a little less busy.
Treat yourself by making a trip or two to dine in the Old Town, specifically on Tapas Alley where you'll be able to get the best chance of trying traditional Spanish fare in Benidorm (a large majority of restaurants in the new town cater most widely to traditional British and German dishes). No matter what kind of food you choose, one thing you are guaranteed is good portions at very reasonable prices.
A slightly more hidden gem (and the place where you'll get great vantage point of both the old and new towns) is Placa del Castell; an almost Greek-like beauty spot perched on a cliff between the beaches. From here you will be treated to dreamy sea views, dramatic stairways and beautifully tiled archways.
With the added benefits of pretty decent shopping (a mix of high street, designer and vintage) classy rooftop venues and lively beach front bars, there is definitely more to Benidorm than you think!
