Porto Colom Mallorca postcard
Say hola to Porto Colom, one of the most traditional and beautiful places you'll find on the island of Mallorca. The village was named in honour of the explorer Christopher Columbus, who was rumoured to have been born here (though there doesn't seem to be much evidence to support this).
Although it's grown in size and popularity over the years, it still manages to maintain the harm and vibe of a small fishing port. The pastel coloured houses lining the waterfront are both quaint AND insta-worthy, which is an unexpected joy.
The Porto Colom beach is perfect for families thanks to its gentle slope into the water, giving plenty of space to swim and play.
The lighthouse, which we've featured in our design, was built in 1863 and is one of the most photographed in all of Mallorca thanks to its bold blue and white stripes.
